How Resources to Unite Communities started:
Resources to Unite Communities is the product arm of Intercambio: Uniting Communities (Intercambio). Founded in 2000, Intercambio is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Boulder, CO, that trains nearly 400 volunteers to teach 1,200 adult immigrants English annually.
When my friend Shawn and I first started Intercambio, we spent a lot of time searching for high-quality, user-friendly, and affordable adult English language curriculum and cultural training resources. We couldn’t find anything that met these requirements, so we spent a decade perfecting a curriculum and additional teaching tools to fit the needs of community-based ESL programs like Intercambio. Now you can benefit from our expertise in working with the adult immigrant community.
All proceeds from the sale of these products support our program in Boulder County. Thank you for your support!
